Thay walk the lyn of Gud and Evil, gyding the path to thayr liking.
-- Abidan Ghayth, Many Years from the West, Age of Wandering Kings

Witches and warlocks are mortal humans living their lives with no ways of extending them. They are as good and evil as normal people, though they tend to meddle infinitely more, often for their perceived good or evil. They are opportunistic by nature, and actually more open to petty bribery than normal humans.

These, being humans, will look and behave as normal humans do, and you will get in a lot of trouble for killing them if they do not have a proclaimed bounty on their heads. Often, witches and warlocks are more subtle than to attract the attention of the law.

If one can be found whose motives coincide with those of the Hunters, they are infinitely useful, and will provide extra supplies when necessary.

Strengths: Witches and warlocks have a broad spectrum of spells available at their disposal, and are often respected or feared members of their community.

Weaknesses: Witches and warlocks are equally susceptible to communicable diseases as anyone else, though they will recover more quickly, as most have a knowledge of surrounding vegetation and its uses. They have to pay rent and buy food and clothes, just like everyone else. They are generally physically weak, spending their time reading and learning, rather than working as a laborer.

Means of Destruction: Witches and warlocks are mortal men and women, and things that will kill a normal man or woman will also kill them, unless they perform a counterspell. Usually, however, they are too shocked to react as such.

Other Notes: Some witches and warlocks are traditionalists and will live outside town in a cottage of herbs and feathers and charms. It is becoming increasingly popular, however, for them to move into the city and become more urban witches and urban warlocks, bringing their gifts to the common man and his wallet.
