The boy

Other names: His tribe name is Unlineable. This is the name most of the characters know him by. The secret name received from his god, however, is Cordell, meaning "Little rope maker". He has accidentally started a legend of a man named alternately 'Rope-maker' or 'Shinigami' in the Village of Logs and Hide.
Age: 14
First seen: Page 1
Position: Earning the title of Shaman of the Forgotten One.
Deity: After losing faith in all the other gods and goddesses, he has been taken into the care of the Forgotten One, the death god who is as old as faith itself.
Noticeable traits: Perpetual sunburn, dirty-blonde dredlocks towards his waist, freckles here and there, moles here and there, hazel eyes. Nothing out of the ordinary. Wears skins, just like everyone else.
**NOTE**: After meeting his deity, he has become covered in faint scars in the shapes and markings of butterfly wings. He has a rope burn scar around his neck and one orange butterfly wing on his jawline, akin to a tattoo. He is to trust no one and nothing that does not have a butterfly on or around them. Because after a few thousand years, the death god has gone completely nuts.

The dragon

Other names: Her name in the old tongue is Arn'ovicht Lai'grenalad Bitari, as reflected on her stats page. However, the other characters cannot wrap their heads around this lengthy name, and she refuses to accept a shorter version of it. As such, the old god has given her the name Godiva, meaning 'gift of god', so that she not need to rip off his shaman's head for messing her name up horribly. The members of the Goblin Tower Tribe, however, cannot know this name, and they have taken to calling her Sparrowdeathling. The vast amount of names she must answer to annoys her, but only mildly.
Age: She is a dragon in her late middle age. However, due to one of her spells, she has retained a very youthful appearance.
First seen: Page 8, or the stats page :D
Position: Keeper of the Shaman of the Forgotten One; she serves as Cordell's bodyguard and servant to make his duties more easily accomplished, as well as to take the strain off him from the excessive secrecy to which he had been sworn.
Deity: She would worship Aritarg, the bishel god of death and destruction, were she not in the service of the old god of death. As it is, she serves without a strong belief in the result of their duties, and has dropped into a sort of draconic agnostic.
Noticeable traits: .... she's a DRAGON FOR PETE'S SAKE. x_o Little, dog-sized brown flappy death thing with a bright orange painted skull on her head. I think you can pick her out of a police lineup. Also, she shares the monarchs emblazoned upon her neck, just as Cordell has, so that he may recognize her when he sees her.
**NOTE**: This is not a complete statistical breakdown of the dragon in any way, shape, or form. To see more about the dragon, click the above link labeled "Bishen". Thanks!

Envisionment

Other names: Keeper of all the ways of Tyler
Age: 40-something
First seen: Page 1
Position: Tyler's Shaman
Deity: Tyler, patron of children
Noticeable traits: A "broken man" as Tyler was. Hunched back, goblinesque features, wrinkles. Paler than most, since he stays in his cavern most of the time. Toys, bells, feathers, and baubles woven into his dusty brown dredlocks. Carries a heavy staff with him, since he has a limp.
**NOTE**: As a shaman, Envisionment receives visions from the world beyond. He can hear others' thoughts and sometimes knows things he should not. As Tyler's shaman, his powers end there, but other shamans can exhibit other, more extraordinary accomplishments.

Wisdomful

Other names: None
Age: 36
First seen: Page 4
Position: Chief of the Goblin Tower Tribe
Deity: Madison, patron of leaders
Noticeable traits: Well-built, wears feathers through his hair, which is often tied on top of his head. Wears rings and glittering things, as befits his status. Often surrounded by women, and wears a necklace with eyeglasses as a pendant, as a symbol of his wisdom.

Kincain

Other names: None
Age: 23
First seen: Page 8
Position: Cleric of Meeshal in the Village of Log and Hide
Deity: Meeshal, rival goddess of death
Noticeable traits: Kincain is a soft-spoken, light-hearted man with dark hair and dark features. He is gentle and serves his goddess with no quibbles. He is the first rival priest ordered destroyed by the Forgotten One.

Tyler

Other names: Keeper of Children
Age: Dead.
First seen: Mentioned frequently
Position: Patron deity of children, beginings, old ways, and other young but forgotten things. Rose up as leader after the Great Something to help keep the survivors of the city alive.
Deity: Himself
Noticeable traits: Often depicted as a goblinesque character with a hunched back and a pointed chin and ears.

Meeshal

Other names: (unknown)
Age: (unknown)
First seen: Mentioned on page 8
Position: Patron deity of death, the underworld, endings in the Village of Logs and Hide
Deity: Herself
Noticeable traits: (unknown)
**NOTE**: Not much is known about Meeshal. One of her clerics has already been destoryed by the boy, and she is not happy.

The Forgotten One

Other names: The old god; Dis, Hades, Mors, Osiris, Shinigami, Yama, Izanami, Mot, Thanatos, Mictlantecuhtli, Odin, and Hel, among others.
Age: Never born, therefore never aged.
First seen: Page 6
Position: Patron deity of death, age, the underworld, endings, and things forgotten and lost
Deity: Itself
Noticeable traits: Only visible in its own world, which is a red-and-black tinted version of the current world, rearranged however it feels like it. Has no noticeable face, and is quite possibly a skeleton cloaked in shadows that dance and float around it. Accompanied by butterflies, because ravens and bats and snakes and cats have been done to death (pardon the pun) over the years, and frankly it wanted something new, less ominous and obvious.
