Home of Sharona

Sharona is the daughter of two fathers, Kipfel and Ira, and absolutely no mother. She calls them Daddy and Daddy (respectively), leading to endless confusion. She's closer to Kipfel than Ira, since the former is more active in watching over her, and the latter, well, he's usually holed up somewhere reading. She also has a special relationship with Löwenherzchen, Kipfel's sufan. Not quite bold enough on her own quite yet, she's needed at least one kick in the ass by the furry green guy to get her point across.

Sharona herself smacks of barddom, or at least, she's trying to, dammit. She has an uncanny fascination with legends and stories and ballads of all kinds, but only the ones spoken out loud; she has no interest in reading them herself, since they're already preserved in text. o_o Someday, someone will read her Beowulf, and then, then it will alll be over for that.

When she's by herself, she loves to make up stories. She tells herself stories about the Old Gods, the Bishel Gods, and various others, both immortal and otherwise. Sometimes these stories are true, and she doesn't know it. Other times, they couldn't be further from the truth. But what does she care? She just does it for a good time.

She enjoys puns and other things and is terrified of heights. She also has a sense of adventure and goes off to do things with her friends, Anacleto and Rudolph. A good deal of their games are LARP-like things, where Intrepid Explorer Sharona finds various cultures and learns about them, with the parts of everyone else being played by... well, everyone else. Such games have led to people losing trinkets and sometimes more useful items.

She also has a very strong sense of family and friendship, and she has a fair idea of what she's lost in not developing a bond. But she's come to terms with that early and does not wish to bond even after she's thought it over a good many times. Why would she want to, when instead of one friend, she may have many, without the emotional-link with another.

And for those of you who might be wondering, the compass in the layout is the one which Kipfel gives to her. A present from his own horde. He has intentions to give presents to all his children, but they got eaten by the disk they were stored on, so they'll be... ridiculously late.

Meanwhile, the compass does not work. Its needle is permanantly stuck just a bit off north. It is solid gold with a porcelein inlay and a ring of mercury within that. She has taken it to remind herself that she must make her own path, and not allow someone to decide where her winds will blow her.
